Where Do I Get Chests to Feed Griffin Midnight Castle

Hi everyone,

Many of us believe that our pets do have "Tells" (a certain movement that a pet has and if we feed it in this particular moment will bring gold chest) and "Favorite Locations" (pets prefer some locations more than others and will bring there more often gold chest). The Seasonal pets are the best choice for gold chests, so far, most pets have brought back gold chests and the Exclusive pets have brought back crystal and gold chests many times at their favorite locations when their "tells" are used. For best results, in order to catch the "tell" you must feed your pets at the exact moment for your game. Feed your pets when you do the round in the Castle, never feed all the pets at once, if you need / want to feed more than three pets, play some HOSs between feedings.
Never feed a pet in the same location twice in a row, and don't hesitate to use the pets when you open new locations.

The update (on Sep 19, 2017) included a new aspect of the game. Pets in our inventory now indicate which reward chests they drop, as well as their drop rates (in the inventory, in the "Pets" tab, click on any pet, it will show what type of chests it gives, and then mouse over each chest, which will show the drop rates)
Also, the update (on Mar 22, 2018) included another aspect of the game. The Seasonal Pets in our inventory now have an icon indicating which event they are from (Xmas/Snowflake, Spring/Egg, Halloween/Pumpkin)

Listed below are All the Pets (ranking from the best pet to the worst), their "tells" and their favorite locations (listed from the oldest to the newest location). Also, what type of chests they give, as well as their drop rates for each type of chest, and all the information you'll need about the pets.
Please keep in mind that the tells & locations of Regular Pets have not been tested, it's just info gathered through the BFG forum.

Pets, your adorable assistants will bring you 5 different types of chests:
Wood.....................Gives 3 Items / 50 Coins per stack
Rusty / Iron...........Gives 4 Items / 100 Coins per stack
Silver.....................Gives 5 Items / 200 Coins per stack
Gold.......................Gives 6 Items / 400 Coins per stack
Crystal / Blue........Gives 10 Items / 200 Coins per stack (so far, only from the Exclusive (Level 69) Pets, it also includes Airship Items)

Also, pet chests now give HOS and ZZ items, so players who have Prof. Pinfeathers (Crow) quests open and they do not have the quest items needed in their inventory, feeding pets will bring you back the following:
Wood ..............Gives up to 1 Item (max value of each item - 15 Coins)
Rusty / Iron.....Gives up to 2 Items (max value of each item - 30 Coins)
Silver ..............Gives up to 3 Items (max value of each item - 50 Coins)
Gold.................Gives up to 4 Items (max value of each item -100 Coins)
Crystal / Blue....Gives up to 5 Items (???)
